Christine Hingston
Christine is inspired by Australia’s iconic blue skies, red soil and summer beach days. Christine works every day, finding inspiration through her process at the easel. Her creative toolbox includes oil and acrylic paint, rust paint, charcoal, gold leaf and collage. Her paintings evolve at their own pace, some quickly, others over time.
Christine is an award-winning contemporary artist. She is represented by galleries in Australia, Indonesia and Singapore. Christine has been a finalist twice in The Black Swan Portrait Prize and her paintings hang in London, Geneva, Los Angles, Moscow and throughout Australia.
Christine spends her time living and painting in Australia and Bali where she has a beautiful studio in the jungle. In her studio in Ubud, the soft colours of ripening rice, magical birds and butterflies and flowers are both Christine’s view and inspiration.
Christine’s paintings are fresh, colourful, impressionistic and in a style that is uniquely hers.
